Description
This is a fine antique leather document/dispatch case dating to the late 19th–early 20th century. The case is fitted with a gilt brass Bramah Patent lock and comes complete with its original working key — a rare survival. Inside are multiple compartments lined in maroon fabric.
The case shows light age-related wear but remains strong and presentable, with a working lock and hinge. Bramah locks were renowned for their security and used on high-quality cases for legal, banking, and government documents.
A wonderful collector’s piece, practical for display or light use.
