A beautiful and complete Victorian carte-de-visite (CDV) photo album, dating to around the 1870s–1880s, featuring richly embossed brown leather covers, gilt-edged pages, and a working brass clasp.

The album contains a full set of original CDV portraits, including men, women, and children, all photographed in classic Victorian studio settings. Many of the photo mounts feature decorative floral borders and gold detailing — typical of high-quality albums from the period.

A fine collector’s piece and a rare surviving example of a 19th-century family keepsake.
