A rare pair of vintage 1920s–30s folding sunglasses in their original hard leather case. Featuring a finely engraved gold-tone (likely gold-filled) frame with light amber-tinted lenses and folding telescopic arms. The bridge and arms are marked with UK patent numbers 336909 and 403332, dating them to the late 1920s–early 1930s. Marked “NUOCEL” on one temple.

These sunglasses were among the early styles used for sun protection and remain highly collectible for their craftsmanship and design. Great for collectors, reenactors, or steampunk fashion.
