Description

A beautiful vintage crocodile leather suitcase retailed by Z. Barraclough & Sons Ltd, Leeds, circa 1940s–1950s. Barraclough were renowned jewellers and luxury retailers established in 1834, supplying fine leather goods, jewellery, and watches.

This small case is monogrammed “M.C.” in gilt letters and features a sturdy carry handle and fitted interior. Exotic skin luggage of this quality was a luxury executive or travel accessory, prized for durability and prestige.

Condition:

• Surface scuffs and wear consistent with age. In my opinion the whole case in perfect great condition but please see photos

• Leather remains supple with a rich patina.

• Handle secure, stitching sound.

• Interior lining in perfect condition

• Lock present and 2 keys original
